Channelkeeper Reports
Help Protect Water Quality

Channelkeeper recently produced two important reports to help protect water quality and marine life in the Santa Barbara Channel. The first is summarizes the current state of water quality in and around the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary and aims to help guide the Sanctuary’s nascent effort to develop a comprehensive water quality protection program. The second report describes Channelkeeper’s work to survey and map eelgrass beds throughout the Santa Barbara Channel and assess their role as critical habitat for marine life.
